How & Why

Because balancing our daily tasks with our personal goals is challenging for all of us, no matter our life situation. Whether we’re a university student, a working professional, a full-time parent (or both), we all have a whole host of responsibilities, tasks and chores which need accomplishing on a daily or weekly basis – because if we don’t stay on top of it all, things just get messy, right? But if we’re not careful, one day just blends into another, we spend hours staring at our phones, lose our sense of purpose and rarely take time to reflect on how we spend our days.

So what’s important to you, and why? What do you really want and are you actually working towards it? All of us should have personal or professional goals, whether short or long term, because if we don’t we’re really just treading water. Hello Day is a reminder that each day we can turn over a new leaf, literally and figuratively. Rather than one day blearily blending into the next, Hello Day literally encourages you to greet each day with a fresh perspective.

Organising your day

Hello Day Planners are for people who want to get things done. It’s for those who want to be productive and accomplish the things that are important both to them and their loved ones. It was designed originally for women with style who like beautiful things and are proud to show it; women who care about how they look and feel, who want to eat well and keep healthy. Since 2020 Hello Day now has a men's range 'Debonaire'. So now Hello Day is for all of us who want to move forward in life, to continuously develop personally and professionally and feel in control of our lives. It’s for those of us who want to have a positive perspective and feel at peace with themselves and those around them. It’s for those who want to wake up each day with a sense of excitement and go to sleep each night with a sense of accomplishment. Maybe this is already you or maybe you want this to be you. I know I want this to be me, and whilst life can be challenging, Hello Day is designed to be our daily companion to help us stay on track, remind us of the things we want to achieve and the person we want to be.

Our goal is to help you to feel good about yourself, and about life. Whilst we are all different in many ways, and life is far from simple, we believe that there are three common ingredients that go a long way to achieving daily happiness: a positive mindset, good health and a sense of accomplishment.

Mindset: By setting aside time each morning to focus your mind, reflect on the day before and plan for the day ahead, you set the tone for a positive and productive day. It may be easier said than done, but even if it’s just 5-10 minutes to begin with, your alone time is important and should be cherished. Hello Day encourages you daily to reflect on what you are grateful for, and to spend some time in prayer, meditation or simply sitting in silence, visualising your successful day ahead.

Health: We believe eating healthily, exercising regularly and drinking plenty of water are vital to looking and feeling great. Your Hello Day planner encourages you to think about your meals in advance so there’s less chance that you eat what's there purely for convenience. It helps you to keep track of your water intake as we so often drink less than we should. And it helps you to plan your exercise goals for the month ahead, and then keep accountable to yourself.

Accomplishment: Ending each day with a sense of accomplishment helps us to start the next with more motivation and more positivity; each element reinforcing the other in a beneficial cycle. Hello Day helps you to set monthly goals which you can then plan to achieve through your weekly and daily tasks. By setting your 'Top To-Dos' each day you ensure that you achieve the things you prioritise most; so even if you don’t finish everything on your list, you can rest assured you did the most important. And with your ‘10 Minute Accomplishments’ you have the added satisfaction of constantly staying on top of those minor (yet sometimes important) things which otherwise never seem to get done.
